So there I was the other day watching Match of the Day with old jug ears himself – Gary Lineker, when I remembered reading that he’d scored himself a rather tasty new young lady!!
So I did a quick ‘Google’ search & found that he is now engaged to the rather fine Miss Danielle Bux….of course I couldn’t leave it there, so I searched for some pictures and unearthed this little lot….hey, if you look close enough, I’m sure you can see an exposed nip!!
I’m sure you’ll agree that the 47year old ex-England striker has done alright for himself….maybe there’s hope for us all yet!!??

Well, before we all trundle off to the cinema tonight to see this weeks film, I suppose I’d better get on with re-viewing last weeks!! Once again, some of us were lucky enough to get free tickets to go & see a flim prior to its release date…. The latest being: ‘Taken’ which actually isn’t released until this Friday – 26th September!!
We’d all seen the trailer to this film previously & knew it already looked pretty good, so much so we’d have probably gone along to see it anyway…but the fact that we got to see it nearly 2 weeks early & for free was a bonus. The film itself didn’t disapoint, infact I’d go as far to say that it was really rather good!!
Starring Liam Neeson as an ex CIA agent, Bryan, who is a little bit over protective of his 17 year old daughther, Kim, – played by Maggie Grace (Shannon from Lost). This is due to the fact that he & his ex-wife (Famke Janssen) don’t really see eye to eye anymore, since they split up…all to do with his over working etc. Anyway, after a bit of persuading Bryan agrees to let Kim go to Paris with her best friend to visit the ‘sites’ etc, unfortunatley he finds out at the airport that they infact are planning to tour across Europe following U2′s tour dates….When they arrive in Paris, the young ladies meet Peter, who helps them get to their hotel…little do they relise that Peter is actually working for a smuggling gang who capture young ladies who are travelling on their own & force them into drug use, prostitution or may even sell off to the highest bidder!!
The next 90mins or so follows Bryan tracking done his daughters kidnappers in attempt to rescue his daughter, there’s plenty of fighting, car chasing & really good life like gun fights…What I mean by that is I felt that when fired the bullets actually sounded real, rather than action sound effects!!?? I was a little worried if Liam Neeson could pull off the role, an almost Jason Bourne style character..but actually he does it very well & pretty damn convincingly, infact you could almost feel the determination in him to bring his daughter back safe & well!!
Overall, I really enjoyed this film & it kept me thoroughly entertained from start to finish. It wasn’t full off plot twists to follow or parts that make you think etc…it was just a good, solid action film! Plus there was a cameo from Holly Valance as a pop singer, which is never a bad thing!! Although she did sing!!
I would highly recommend seeing this film if you want an enjoyable action thriller to watch – its easily the best thats out there at present….my rating is a very good 8/10.
So as mentioned on my previous post, I’m attempting to write this review on my iPod using the wordpress app & this is already my 2nd attempt!!
So this may well be the first and last time I write a review on here…so excuse the spelling mistakes.
This weeks 2nd film and the only one we paid for was the latest offering from Guy Ritchie: Rocknrolla.
So was it any good? Well actually it wasn’t that bad, you see Mr Madonna has reverted back to his unique London gangster style flicks! The only problem being is that it just isn’t as good as his previous films of this genre like: ‘Lock Stock…‘ And ‘Snatch‘
Everything you need for this type of film is present like a good cast, good storyline, a decent-if not a bit obvious-twist and a reasonable soundtrack!
My only complaint I have is that for a gangster movie, this was just a little slow moving & didn’t really get going until the last half hour or so!!
The whole storyline is a bit too complicated to explain fully, but I’m sure you can get the basic gist of it by thinking of his previous films…just not as good!!
Overall, if you want to be entertained for a couple of hours you could do a lot worse than this film…my score out of ten is a pretty good six!!
You may have noticed a post overload today, but this is the last one for now….it seems I have just found a few things to blog about!! I actually have 1 more film to review but I’m gonna try blogging that from my Ipod using the WordPress app over the weekend…wish me luck!! 
Anyway, back to this post, I was happily reading an e mag I got the other day, when I stumbled across this little video!! We all know about the hit BBC show: Dragons Den where 5 millionaires invest their cash into ideas/products/business’ that might make them money in the future! Well, the programmed has been sold to many different countries, including Hungary.
I’m no expert in speaking Hungarian? & haven’t got a clue what product the client in the following video is actually trying to sell to the Dragons, but it looks pretty interesting!! Basically, it involves a large breasted lady with her boobs out, getting each dragon in turn to feel them & then leaving with the cash….I can only presume it has something to do with implants – either a new type or funding for new ones?? Anyway, who cares – it has boobs in it!! Click HERE to view the video (requires real player) & lets just hope this starts a craze & they start featuring this on the BBC version!!
Another week, another film to see & review…well, as mentioned on my previous film post, one of two movies watched this week!! The first one being the latest movie from the team that brought you SUPERBAD, their latest offering being another comedy called: Pineapple Express….but hang on I hear you cry – its not released yet!! I know, a few of us managed to bag ourselves some free tickets for a preview screening at our latest cinema!!
So, was it worth the free entry fee? Actually, yes it was…I’ll admit, I didn’t find SUPERBAD overly funny, ok it had funny moments but I just didn’t get the type of humour it was potraying!! However, Pineapple Express is better….The jokes are more obvious and a lot of it is basically slapstick comedy, which you’ve got to admit is pretty funny!!
The film follows chronic weed smoker cum supener server Dale Denton (Seth Rogan) as he witness’ the murder of a Chinese drug lord by the local rival drug dealer, dropping his roach as he escapes, he realises that this unique weed (Pineapple Express) may lead the drug lord back to his dealer – Saul Silver (James Franco) & eventually him!! Cue 90mins of hilarious bumbling chases/escapes/mis-haps & gun fights until our heroes?? eventually escape the evil drug barons….
As I said above, I actually enjoyed the film and it had me laughing in the right places, plus the added bonus it was free makes it all the better…my score on the door is: 7/10.
Some of you may have seen the recent TV ad featuring the rather lovely EVA MENDEZ….you know the one for Calvin Kleins Secret Obsession perfume?? No, not ringing any bells!! Come on, how can you not remember it – she’s rolling around naked on her back with just a flimsy sheet to protect her modesty!! Oh, now you remember eh?
Well, it seems that the version we see on our screens isn’t the orginal…you see the orginal featured a rather brief glimpse of lovely Eva’s nipple!! Trust me, its only a very slight slip of said flimsy sheet, but it seems even this is too much & the censors had it cut out!!
Obviously, we would all be too shocked & disgusted at a sight of a nipple, so we get the edited version…..well guess what I’ve got here for your viewing pleasure!! Yep – the full uncensored version…..remember to keep your eyes peeled for that nip slip…blink and you might miss it!!
So there I was this week at the cinema on Monday (my first of 2 visits – more later), when my good friend & WordPress expert CHRIS mentioned that I hadn’t reviewed the film I saw last week….BABYLON A.D.. You see I had forgotten to review said film, now some say that forgetting to write the review is a true enough review in itself, as it couldn’t have been that good or memorable!!??
Well to be honest, that’s pretty much the case….it wasn’t a terrible film, but it wasn’t the best either!! A quick plot synopsis has veteran mercenary Thoorop?? (VIN DIESEL), taking a job to escort a young woman from Russia to America…Of course it wouldn’t be that simple as it turns out that this is no ordinary young lady, she is in fact a new Messiah – I KNOW!!
You see this young lady is infact carrying super twins that her Mother wants for her religious cult as these twins are an immaculate conception…WOW. Cue an hour of fighting/running/snowmobile chases as they try to escape all these different groups that are after her & her twins!!
We then find out that her long thought dead Dad, is infact alive, & wants to protect his daughter from her Mothers evil Religious sect….it also turns out that HE actually not only fathered her but also grew/developed her as a child as she is programmed from his – and I quote: ‘Super Computer!!’
As you can guess, this is when the film goes from an entertaining action flick into a bit of a joke….aswell as this the fact that her Mother gives up looking for her after one attempt & that she dies, whilst giving birth to her multi-raced twins (1 black, 1 white), for no reason…left us all thinking:
‘What the f@*k was that all about!!’
Overall, not great, so don’t worry if you missed it – my score = 5/10.
